Changed the safety culture by introducing “safety as a value” as a companion to the behavior based safety process. Managed workers’ compensation program until this was delegated to HR management. Managed hazardous waste program for this large quantity generator resulting in a compliant work site and significant waste reduction. Extensive industrial hygiene monitoring with me personally conducting the sampling and training others to perform IH sampling at remote locations. This provided the incentive for installing significant exposure reduction controls.
