Points to consider while sending intra oral photographs and x rays
• While taking the photograph, make sure the flash is on or in a well lit and illuminated place
• The photo should be taken as close to the tooth as possible but still not blurring it.
• While taking a snap of the x ray, make sure it is held against the screen monitor with a white background or bright light.
• Here are some samples of the photographs sent by patients like you.
• This will give us an insight and we will be able to compare your IOPAs(intra oral periapical radiographs) /FMX (Full mouth x rays)/ OPG(orthopantomograph)/ PANO/ Panoromic x ray since these are 2- dimensional X-rays.
• If possible, we request you to take a CBCT scan (Cone Beam CT). This will give us a 3-D picture of your jaw.
