Force Behind the Art and Science of Integrated Health.”
I promise you, this is amazing stuff Morgan Freeman
About Dr. Mosaraf Ali
An expert in Ayurvedic medicine and Naturopathy with a holistic vision, that is to say of the person as a whole, he successfully blends oriental and western medicine in a health concept.
The Brain
• Here we discuss about Human Brain.• The brain is a controversial subject, as the very
existence of the subconscious, termed as “involuntary”, “automatic” or “unconscious” functions of the brain, is poorly defined or understood by science.
The Two Brains: Conscious and Subconscious
• The Conscious Brain• This is known as the Cortical
Brain and forms the superficial or outer layers, of the brain.
• It makes decisions, analyses, makes deductions, uses logic, touch, vision, hearing, smell etc; stores long-term memory, is responsible for our intellectual function thinking.
The Subconscious Brain• The Hypothalamus has a rear
chamber filled with brain fluid (CSF). Its roof has the analytical centres of emotions - rage, passion, happiness, fear, sorrow, jealousy, revenge and sexual pleasure which we feel them here and react through the Hypothalamus which expresses emotions via hormones.
• Mid Brain (Mesencephalon). This part of the brain maintains consciousness, so keeps us awake and alert.
The Neck
• It has seven flat-bodied vertebrae, in a span of some 15 cm, whereas he entire back, which is normally over a meter long, has only 17 vertebrae.
• Our neck gives us more trouble than any other part of the body.
• The vertebral arteries, our better “life source”, run through a pair of canals located in the first five vertebrae of the neck, inside their wings. Then they emerge; make a loop and join together to form the Basiler Artery at the base of the brain, which is located on the lower surface of the Medulla Oblongata.
• The blood flow through the Vertebral Arteries is then restricted or the flow becomes turbulent. This compression of the arteries ultimately causes a malfunction of the Subconscious Brain, often with disastrous consequences.
Effect on the Brain
• The brain cells are highly specialized and they need “fuel” to function all the time.
• Oxygen and glucose are easily accessible to the brain cells.
• The brain cells are highly susceptible to a decrease in the supply of oxygen and glucose levels.
• Subconscious Brain is reduced by more than 80%, then fainting occurs and a person will collapse.
Causes of Narrowing of the Canal in the Neck
• Cerebro Spinal Fluid (CSF) in which the brain “floats”. This fluid penetrates various chambers and canal ways, located deep inside the brain.
• Misalignment of the neck vertebrae due to whiplash injuries, birth injuries like forceps or Ventouse delivery; head and neck injuries; boxing, anaesthesia during surgery and etc.
• Compression of the disks of the vertebrae of the neck, resulting in narrowing or kinks, in the vertebral arteries.
Stress
• Stress plays in increasing the demand of oxygen in the brain and simultaneously cutting-off the supply chain.
• This tightening of the neck muscles causes reduction of blood flow through vertebral arteries. The subconscious brain then gets less blood.
• The Dutch name for Meningitis is “Nek Kramp” (neck cramp).
