Jacob’s LadderNeurodevelopmental School and Therapy Center

» School Purpose▪ Customized treatment plans autism or any other developmental delay ▪ Components: Pre-screening, 3 day evaluation, therapy plan, follow upProblem: Travel can be an inhibitor receiving the treatment plan initially; therapy is administered remotely and unmonitored leading to unwanted deviations in delivery methods and emotional isolation.

» What if?▪ The JL team could pre-screen patients and reduce the 3 day evaluation to 2

days? ▪ Parents and caregivers could directly interact with JL without traveling?▪ What if JL could observe children in their own environment without traveling?

» What is being explored:▪ The use of a Rubbermaid cart to provide live Tele-visits with two-way video

and data transmission to enable the JL team to speak with parents and observe children before they arrive at the school, as well as provide support and guidance after they receive their custom therapy plan.
