Guaranteed Muscle Growth by Using This Tactic By : http://superbodybuildingtips.wordpress.com Muscle growth isn't some big mystery. You don't need to leave things up to chance. You simply need to know what type of training stimulates the muscle to increase in size. Lets discuss the two types of muscle growth and how you can use this knowledge to quickly gain muscle mass. 1. Sarcoplasmic Muscle Growth: This is increasing the size of a muscle by increasing the fluid within the muscle cells. This type of growth will increase the muscles at a faster rate than any other method. The reason why a bodybuilder is significantly bigger than a power lifter is largely due to the fact that bodybuilders maximize the sarcoplasmic growth of their muscles. So How Do You Increase the Sarcoplasm Inside a Muscle Cell? The best way to increase this type of growth is to lift in the 6- 15 rep range. You need to "compress" your workouts to a certain extent. The rest period needs to be short to insure that you fatigue the muscle within this rep range. You can't rest 90+ seconds in between sets because this will limit the amount of sarcoplasmic muscle growth caused by the workout. The total workout volume of sets and reps needs to be high as well. 2. Myofibrillar Muscle Growth: This is increasing the actual muscle fiber or muscle tissue. The potential for growth is much smaller compared to sarcoplasmic training. The reason you want to add in myofibrillar training is to give the muscles a hard and dense look. If you just focus on Sarcoplasmic training, you will have soft "fluffy" looking muscles. So How Do You Train for Myofibrillar Growth?

Muscle growth isn't some big mystery. You don't need to leave things up to chance. You simply need to know what type of training stimulates the muscle to increase in size. Lets discuss the two types of muscle growth and how you can use this knowledge to quickly gain muscle mass.

1. Sarcoplasmic Muscle Growth:

This is increasing the size of a muscle by increasing the fluid within the muscle cells.

The best way to increase this type of growth is to lift in the 6-15 rep range.

2. Myofibrillar Muscle Growth:

This is increasing the actual muscle fiber or muscle tissue.

You will want to train in the 2-5 rep range and aim for maximum tension instead of maximum fatigue. Rest longer in between sets, because the weight being used and tension generated is your number one goal. You can rest 90+ seconds in between sets. You can also pause in between reps. The volume does not need to be high, you simply want to lift heavy for a low to medium amount of sets.

Combine Both of These Types of Muscle Growth for The Best Results

If you just focus on sarcoplasmic growth, you will have large but soft looking muscles. If you just focus on myofibrillar growth, you will have dense but undersized muscles.
