Patient Description: Ms. Smith is a 55 y.o. female patient 2 weeks s/p (R) TKA. Currently, the

patient is ambulating with a forward wheeled walker but is ready to progress to another assistive device. During this follow-up treatment, the SPT will fit Ms. Smith with the assistive device and instruct her to ambulate over level surfaces and negotiate stairs so that she can manage at home safely. The Timed Up and Go (TUG) Test is also performed to assess the patient’s falls risk.
