Integrating Eko with drchrono
Step 3: Set up a heart sound recording• Navigate back to your Eko home screen by clicking to the left of the patient panel• Make sure your Eko Core is turned on and paired with your app so that the light on
your device shows solid green• Select Set Up Recording followed by the desired
auscultation position and location• Make a 15-second heart sound recording and save it
to the corresponding patient file
Step 1: Create an Eko account• Download the Eko mobile application from the Apple App Store• Open the app and select Sign Up
• After logging in, you will be taken through a short tutorial and asked to set a four-digit login pin that will make future sign-in’s easier
Step 2: Sync Eko with your drchrono account• Press the patient icon in the upper right hand corner of your screen
to access your patient panel
• You will be notified when the EHR sync has been successfully completed, at which point all of your drchrono patients will have been imported into the Eko app with first name, last name, date of birth, and unique patient ID
• Click on EHR sync, followed by drchrono• The sync may take a few minutes, but you will be able to use your Eko app normally in the meantime

• To review the recording through drchrono, log into your drchrono account• Navigate to your Patient List and select the patient whose recording you would like to
review
Step 4: Review a heart sound recording
• Click on the Documents tab, and scroll to the bottom of the page, where you will find your Auscultation Reports

• Playback the recording, add notes, or share it with another clinician• Any notes or changes made to the recording in the Eko App or on the Eko
Web Dashboard will automatically update the corresponding Auscultation Report in drchrono
• After opening the Auscultation Report, click on View in Browser to be brought to recording on the Eko Web Dashboard
