Peace of mind With so much riding on your operations, you can’t afford interruptions, unplanned costs, or delays due to accidents. As with many DR detectors sold today, accidental damage is not covered under a standard warranty or service agreement. CARESTREAM DRX Accident Protection is a uniquely designed plan for the DRX detector which can be added to your standard Carestream DRX Warranty or Service Agreement. The plan allows a replacement detector to be purchased at a fraction of the full cost, should damage occur due to an accident in the course of normal clinical use.

Maximum uptime Accident Protection can be purchased for each eligible detector covered by a Carestream service agreement or warranty. When an accident occurs, we will diagnose the issue and expedite a replacement detector to your facility through our global parts and service network. The fast turnaround will help maximize equipment uptime and your ability to care for your patients.

Maintaining continuous accident coverage on your Carestream DRX detector can further minimize your risk and protect your important investment. Purchasing the Accident Protection Plan at the same time as the DRX detector assures the lowest annual fee. Coverage will be continuous for as long as you maintain a service agreement with an Accident Protection Plan.
