Double Page Spread Drawn Draft Explanation

Headline- The Headline will be on top of the main image (keep with the consistent

layout that has been used on the front cover) in a triangular shape to make the text

clearer to read. Moreover, this will draw the audience’s attention to the article.

Main image- For the main image, I’m going to have the band from the front cover

on the double page spread. For this image, I am going to have a high angled shot

pointing down at the band, whilst they are looking up at the camera. Again, they

are going to be wearing rock style clothing, but this may differ from the front cover

image. Furthermore, for this page, the band is going to have some props with

them, like guitars and maybe a microphone. The location will be somewhere near a

field, so that it’s a constant background with texture to keep the target audience

interested.

Main article- I’m going to have the main article set out in two columns so that it

doesn’t look like too much information, because this may put my target audience

off reading the article.

Pull quote- For the speech marks, I’m going to have an enlarged version of them

on the opposite page to the article, because this will more likely draw the audience

into reading this page.

Album review- The album review will appear near the bottom, at the end of the

article. This will be in a shape to show its separate from the main article.

Page number- To keep with the rebellious theme, I’m going to have the page

number in the bottom right hand corner and have it so that that that part of the

page looks like it’s been ripped.
