MENTAL ILLNESSIS A STATE OF BEING IN WHICH THE PERSON IS UNCOMFORTABLE MEETING EVERYDAY EVENTS AND RELATING TO OTHERS

Sickness is when a part of the body is broken or malfunctioning.  Any medical diagnosis, or psychiatric malady is a sickness.

NEUROSISINDIVIDUAL IS UNABLE TO REACT NORMALLY TO LIFE SITUATIONS BUT STILL IN TOUCH WITH REALITY. NEUROSIS VARIES IN DEGREE AND IN SOME CASES THE PERSON MAY BE OBSSESSED WITH MORBID FEARS AND COMPULSIONS.EG. PHOBIAS, MANIASNERVOUS BREAKDOWN

PSYCHOSISA PERSON IS NOT INTOUCH WITH REALITY, HE CANNOT CARRY ON HIS USUAL WORK ACTIVITY.

ORGANIC PSYCHOSIS

a condition characterized by a loss of contact with reality caused by an alteration in brain tissue function

functional psychosis, a severe emotional disorder characterized by personality derangement and loss of ability to function in reality, but without evidence that the disorder is related to the physical processes of the brain.
