This is performed in order to releaseurine or inject dye. 4. RPRP stands for retrogradepyelogram.This diagnostic procedure usesa dye inserted via the urethra.The bladder, ureters, and renalpelvis are outlined and thusbecome viewable through theuse of X-ray technology. 5. BUNBUN is the standardabbreviation for blood ureanitrogen.This procedure is a bloodtest, which involvesdetermining the amount ofnitrogenous waste, or urea,in the bloodstream. Thisserves as a measure ofkidney function. 6.
