Amit Khanna was a regular patient of Dr. Ananya Ghosh, a popular neurologist. Amit often forgot things, which was obvious due to his medical condition. Often he would forget his Doctors papers and lab reports at home, and not carry them on him when visiting Dr. Ghosh. Dr Ghosh felt bad each time she had to send Amit home to retrieve the papers.

She was looking for some sort of a solution; Amit was not a one off case; a number of her patients would regularly forget to carry lab reports and medical charts. After meeting with a few Software vendors, Dr. Ghosh decided to use Plus91’s Clinkare to help manage and store her Medical Records. She also wanted to let her patients have their Health Record available online. She wanted the patient visit template and the follow up templates customized. She wanted the patients’ demographic details captured along a quick option to take follow up notes. Moreover she wanted a separate template to include their past medical history and always show all prior visits of the patient with diagnosis and notes. She wanted a separate tab for prescriptions and medical investigations. She also wanted the option to attach the patients’ lab reports, X-rays and other scans into the software. It’s been 2 years, and Dr. Ghosh now has a complete record of all the patients with their reports and images with her. Due to addition of the 3rd party Report Upload facility directly into the patient’s health records, they also upload their lab and other diagnostic reports themselves for Dr Ghosh to see without her having to meet them just for that. Mr. Amit now never needs to carry his report and Dr. Ghosh can’t be happier.
