What is Cancer?Cancer develops from abnormal cells in us, where it grows uncontrollably which causes harm to our body when cells are altered forming lumps or masses or tissues known as tumors.
Types of CancerThere are over 100 different types of cancer, the most common are listed below:- Amongst men the most common
sites are lung, prostate, colon, rectum, stomach and liver cancer
- Amongst women the most common sites are breast, colon, rectum, lung, cervix and stomach
- Amongst children and adolescent the most common sites are leukemia, neuroblastoma, wilms tumor, lymphoma, retinoblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, bone, brain & central nervous system cancer

Main KillersAccording to the (WHO) “Cancer is considered to be one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide” .How cancer is spread?
Cancer travels through out the body via our blood or lymphatic systems.
Cure & TreatmentCurrently there are no known cure for cancer, but the greatest chance of being cured may be through surgery. However there are treatments for cancer, a few are highlighted below:-Chemotherapy -Radiation Therapy -Blood Transfusion
