BCC Guiding Principles

1. BCC should be integrated with project goals from the start.

2. Formative BCC assessments should be done – ID needs and barriers.

3. Involve target population and key project stakeholders.

BCC Issues (Samples) Determinant MNH TB

1. Opportunity Kulang sa personnel and facilties. Kulang sa personnel and facilities (Cat).

IFA nearly expired (Ton). Long process, delayed result of TBDC (Ton); mahabang pila (Lon).

Delayed lab result (Ton). No TBDC facility (Ton).

Long schedule : 6-9 months (Ton), Financially unstable health facility (Lon).

No ordinance na dapat magpatingin sa BHC (Cat)

Malayo ang center (Lon).

Not all FP methods available (Lon).

Mahabang pila (Lon).

2. Ability Stigma on young mothers. Stigma on TB patients.
