Why We Choose This Program…Why We Choose This Program…
• Emotional pain and struggle in corporate sector can be difficult to express verbally, and those who struggle with low performance in company often find it particularly difficult to use words to describe their experience.
• Art therapy uses the “creative process” of art making to help “resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and awareness and achieve insight” (AATA).

Aim
• Art therapy provides a creative outlet for pent up emotions and feelings that are too painful or overwhelming to put into words.
• Another interesting aspect of art therapy is that the relationship “is three way, split between the patient and therapist as well as the image being made”

Skills necessary for Art Therapy • Art therapy does not require talent or
skill by the patient and the product does not have to be “aesthetically pleasing”.
• Art therapy is not about producing the next Michelangelo or Picasso, but instead about freely and spontaneously expressing oneself through the artistic process.
• Art helps you express your feelings in a safe way, as it is a universal language.
