The country enjoys political stability, and forecasts are for slight economic growth in 2013. The top foreign investor in Bulgaria is a U.S. company. EU membership will continue to result in funding for infrastructure projects, provided that the Bulgarian government procedures are e�cient and transparent.
Bulgaria’s healthcare budget for 2011 amounted to 1.659 billion EUR (4.2 % of GDP). For 2012 it is estimated at approximately 1.875 billion EUR. For the long-term period 2001 through 2011 the healthcare budget ranged between 3.8 to 4.4 % of GDP.
This show will give an opportunity to the Bulgarian healthcare community, doctors, medical equipment distributors, natural products manufacturers and distributors and administrators to better acquaint themselves with the American healthcare market and achievements.
