Chakras are knots or points that are located at the plexuses of veins, nerves and arteries. The Chakras are not the physical body, but are part of the subtle body. . The meeting points of the non-physical or the subtle
channels of energy are called nadiis.

We call the channels in the subtle body Nadiies through which the vital energy or life force (prana) moves. There are a lot of chakras in the

Below are the 7 Chakras and what they represent:
1. Sacral Chakra is located in the lower part of the abdomen, approximately 2 inches below our navel. This Chakra refers to our ability and connection to accept new experiences and others. Emotional issues will include sense of well-being, pleasure, abundance and sexuality.

2. Root Chakra is at the base of the spine in the tailbone area. It symbolizes our feeling of being grounded and our foundation. Emotional issues are survival issues such as money, food and financial independence.

3. Heart Chakra is located at the center of our chest just above the heart. It represents our ability to love. Emotional issues may include joy, love and inner peace.

4. Solar Plexus Chakra is located at the upper abdomen in the stomach area. It refers to our capability to be in control of our lives and confident.

5. Throat Chakra is located at the throat and symbolizes our ability to communicate. Emotional issues are self-expression of what you feel, the truth and communication.

6. Third Eye Chakra is located at the forehead between the eyes. Other name is Brow Chakra. This refers to our capability to focus on the bigger picture. Emotional issues are imagination, ability to make decisions and think, intuition, and wisdom.

7. Crown Chakra is located at the topmost part of the head. This is the highest Chakra and refers to our capability to be spiritually connected fully. Emotional issues are pure bliss, connection to spirituality and the inner and outer beauty.
