Good morning!

I would like to welcome you to the amazing city of Vienna in this beautiful Friday morning.

My name is Petya Raykovska and I am one of the organisers of WordCamp Europe 2016 which, because all of you are here, also turned out to be the biggest WordCamp to this day.

WordCamp Europe was created to bring the active European communities together. But what happened outgrew the founders dreams. Today WordCamp Europe brings the WordPress world together.

We had 8 volunteer submissions. 3 Approved and a couple stepped in at the last minute to bolster the ranks - they have organiser lanyards and you would have seen them at the registration.
