A pattern of controlling behaviors that frighten, intimidate,

manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure, or wound in an intimate relationship such as

marriage, cohabitation, dating, or within the family

1 in 4 US women and 1 in 7 US men have experienced severe physical violence by an

intimate partner (CDC)

In 2013, there were 14 domestic violence related fatalities in Idaho

(Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence)

In 2013, the Boise City Police received 3,541 calls related to domestic violence situations

(Boise City Police Dept.)
