Introduction• Tim Salvesen is a financial professional who served as a

senior manager and audit engagement team leader at FGMK, LLC, in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to his position with FGMK, Tim Salvesen worked at KPMG, LLP, where he held a senior position and led the company’s Chicago office in its involvement with the American Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society is a nonprofit organization focused on educating communities, providing support to cancer patients, working with governments to pass laws that help fight cancer, and conducting lifesaving research. Individuals who want to become involved with the efforts of the American Cancer Society can participate in a number of ways.

3. Make a donation: People with busy schedules who still wish to contribute to the mission of the American Cancer Society can make donations directly to the organization on its website, as well as by mail or by phone. Donations can be made on a one-time basis, on a monthly schedule, or can even be incorporated into an individual’s estate planning.
