This is the introductory presentation used during the Social Change Lab Governance stakeholder session. The session tagged "TechMeetsElection" brought mixed stakeholder groups in Nigeria to explore the electoral process to identify gaps and bottlenecks for which innovative technology would be critical. This is the introductory presentation delivered at the session by Femi Longe - Dirctor of Open Living Labs at the CcHub. The presentation gives insight into our vision and explains how the whole session would work

“We need a critical mass of Nigerians to get out and vote. It is important because the more ballot papers that are legitimately used on election day, the fewer available to be used to rig the vote, that’s the truth.”
OUR TASK IS TO ENSURE:
• Maximum number of eligible citizens register & actually come out to vote
• Citizens KNOW their electoral options
• Citizens can choose without inducement
• The conduct of the election is free and fair
