The Sydney Polynesian Forum (the organisers) would like to thank you for showing interest in the Sydney Polynesian Australian Cultural Festival (PACFest) for 2014. This event consists of 12 high schools performing a 15-minute set consisting of song/dance from the Aboriginal, Maori, Samoan, Tongan, Fijian and Cook Island cultures. A Market Place will also be held consisting of commercial food, & retail stalls, NGO and Govt Agency Information stalls. Registered Schools

The Sydney Polynesian Forum has been blown away by the passion and desire of Sydney High Schools to perform at Sydney PACFest 2014.

Already there is a waiting list from schools for 2015 because they could not register in 2014.

For 2014 the registered schools include:

1- GRC Oatley Senior Campus (Host school)

2- GRC Peakhurst HIgh School

3- GRC Penshurst Girls High School

4- GRC Hurstville Boys High School

5- Kogarah High School

6- Wiley Park Girls High School

7- Canterbury Boys High School

8- Belmore Boys HIgh School

Many schools chose to practice during the recent school holidays- that’s how strong their commitment to performing is!

We have had report backs on the schools progress to date and its amazing the amount of progress they are all making.

9- Burwood Girls High SchoolThe ethnic composition of the crowd includes Maori, Tongan, Fijian, Cook Island, Samoan and Aboriginal ethnicities (plus Australian generally but not specifically targeted).

The number of expected performers is between 300-720 high school students aged 12-18yrs.

The number of expected audience members are1500 families and supporters who will have pre-purchased tickets.

There will also be approximately 100 volunteers working on the day.

Therefore the total expected audience is approximately1900-2320.

Market Place InformationSydney PACFest 2014 will have an onsite Market Place consisting of Nesian food, retail, community and information stalls.

There are thirty (approx.) 3mx3m sites available for hire.

Food stallholders must hold both the “Retailers food authority license” and a “Food Safety Supervisor” certificate.

The following fees will be required to secure a stall location:

Stall type: Fee: Size of site: Larger sites:Retail $200.00 Standard Pop

Up Marquee: 3mx 3m

Large Pop Up Marquee: 3mx 6m sites avail though at a higher charge.

Please enquire with the Stall Manager if interested.

Event tickets will be available by donating to the event via the website:

Tickets range from single adult to family (2A+2C), medium family (2A+3C) and large family packages (2A+4C).

Infants under 3yrs are free but must sit on an adults lap, children are from 3-16yrs and adult’s tickets are 16yrs+.

Official Sydney PACFest merchandise is also available as part of some ticket packages.

Donations for tickets will close on 17th July 2014 if tickets are not all sold out prior.

Sales are on a first come first served basis, strictly limited seats and there will be NO door sales.
