CONS:
• Potentially impacted trees (5-15)
• Southbound through bike trips likely to remain on road or
sidewalk
• Chicago / Sheridan Transition very difficult
• Second transition required at Central St
• High Level Bus Stop Designs becomes difficult
• Southbound cyclists ride facing oncoming traffic
• Complex intersections
• Increased conflicts for vehicles turning across cycle track
• Travel lanes shift west; complexity and cost increase due
to lane shift
