MAKE IN INDIA AN OVERVIEW

● International marketing campaigning.

● Launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on 25th September 2014 was held at New Delhi.

● It is a national program designed to transform India in to global manufacturing hub.

● To urge both local and foreign companies to invest in India.

● 25 sectors have been identified as priority area.

LIVE PROJECTS IN MAKE IN INDIA

● The project is featured in KPMF’S 100 Most Innovative Global Projects.

● Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, it utilize the 1,483km long, high-capacity western Dedicate Railway Freight Corridor as the backbone.

● 24 manufacturing cities are envisaged in the perspective plan of the DMIC project.

● Other 4 Corridors: Bangalore-Mumbai Economic Corridor, Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Development Corridor, Chennai-Bangalore Industrial Corridor , Chennai Vizag Industrial Corridor as the first phase of the project as the East Coast Economic Corridor.
