DESCRIPTION
Di-XL Project on European Conference on Informatin Letieracy in Dubrovnik, Croatia European Conference on Information Literacy - ECIL2014 was held from 20th to 23rd October in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The Conference was attended by more than 250 participants from 60 countries from all continents. At this conference, by invitation of the organizers, Predrag Djukic, assistant director of the Belgrade City Library presented the Project Di-XL: Lifelong Learning Organisations and Libriaries: A Joint Effort Towards Customers in Pecha Kucha format. The presentation was received with great interest. A number of publications, "Libraries as Powerful Partners" were circulated to the conference participants interested in the model of cooperation between organizations engaged in lifelong learning and libraries in the field of dissemination and exploitation of projects results in the field of lifelong learning. The publication is one of the outcomes of Di-XL Project. International dissemination of the Project results was planned as one of the activities within the Work Package 8. This is the first time that the Belgrade City Library as a partner is participating in an international project in the field of lifelong learning and it was one of the reasons why it so was important to show the results of the project to the wider professional community.
