What is a Chamber of Commerce?

Chamber of Commerce are voices and club of businessmen and their families which work to seed, protect and promote all interests of respective business communities not only within the country but globally

In other words chamber of commerce are trade unions of business communities but they don’t blackmail govts or go on strike as they cant and work on concept of persuasion and collaboration

Chamber of commerce are govt recognized apolitical bodies which function under laws thus getting support of all govts, political parties, institutions, associations etc

Chamber of commerce play a vital role in progress of national economic growth

Chamber of commerce exist for all sizes of business, sectors and segments

There are more than 450 known chambers of commerce in India representing various business communities/ business sectors/ segments like FCCI, PHD, CII, steel ect

Why shall there be a chamber of Commerce of Military Families?

Non of the exiting chamber of commerce promotes economic interests of military families

Members of military families are more driven by concept of sacrifice and nationalism and have difficulty in understanding concept of economic gains as practiced in business and thus need transformation support

Most of members of military families start business late in their lives and their business failure rates are very high comparing civilians thus they need more hand holdings and support

Military families are best entrepreneurs and have enormous talent but are vulnerable to exploitation. Being apprehensive, they ignore their entrepreneurship skill and use their talent more as employees getting pea nuts. They need orientation and alignment

Economic empowerment is essential for growth in market economy. Due to lack of transformation support, military families loose out in their economic growth

If 5 military engineers can build best of roads in treacherous environment while serving in military, why cant they participate as business entity in infra development of the nation? Just because they lack business credentials and financial support? If chamber facilitated partnership and collaboration with best in industry is provided, they can bid and execute best of the projects to build nation

Why shall there be a chamber of Commerce of Military Famlies?

Just think? Most of the soldiers are farmers. They own million of acres of

land. If they or their families are supported in agro forestry or with better agro techniques or agro industry or solar power generation etc from the day one when they join military, they will have extra income and after retirement economic benefit plus their lands will be safe and protected. Chamber can make presentations to the state govts and help them make policies and bring best experts to help them undertake it . Soldier farmers can be a builders of rural economy. Other farmers and rural people will also benefit

Infantry soldiers are thought to be only suited for security jobs. Is it so? They have best operation expertise, adoptability and survival skills. They can be best entrepreneurs. Best suited for operation and process intensive industry. They can be best international traders/ brokers or bankers or transporters

Best of management concepts as taught in best of business

schools worldwide come from military and are made best use by corporate, then why do more start ups of military families fail? Simply as they start late in their life and their business support system is weak

even for one day and medically boarded out All NCC certificate holders  All ex students of military pattern schools like RIMC, Military

Schools, Sainik Schools, Army Schools, Air Force Schools, Navy Schools etc including colleges and private institutions like Sanawar School, Mayo College etc

and clubbed in a separate category Any one who supports military families in any permissible

and substantial manner shall be termed as Military Family Friend

Not for Profit and an apolitical platform under laws of the land. No profits or dividends paid to share holders

Only focus on 360 degree needs of military families and connecting them with industry leaders, experts, govt, law makers, bankers, funders, incubators, education institutions, govts, and military family friends etc

Shall have business sector wise and function wise fully autonomous committees to plan and execute various activities will help of advisory groups

Shall have various forums and conduct events for open discussions and participations

Chamber board shall be seeded as small core and expand by brining majority share holders from industry leaders from military families and other minority share holders from military family friendly bankers, govt bodies, foundations of public/ private companies etc

Concept of chamber of Commerce of Military Families Board shall only focus on strategic directions, infrastructure and

facilities support, protection from legal and financial risks and providing core administrative support giving full functional autonomy to various committees, forums and advisory groups
