of experience marketing the products and services of such companies as USAA. Outside of her professional life, Dawn Johnson has supported local nonprofits in San Antonio along with national charities like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Recently, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) announced a partnership with drugstore chain Walgreens to establish comprehensive educational tools and resources for fighting blood and other cancers. To this end, the two organizations will collaborate on the creation of an education program for Walgreens pharmacists that focuses on blood cancer.

In addition, Walgreens will sponsor resource centers and free national conferences about blood cancer for patients and their caregivers.

Together, Walgreens and LLS will also focus on increasing support for the annual Light the Night Walk. Each year, this charitable event helps raise millions of dollars for cancer research and support services for those fighting the disease by inviting participants to form teams and collect donations before meeting for an evening walk illuminated by lanterns.
