No matter your level of personal wealth, you can make a difference in the lives of those with blood cancer through a legacy gift to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. You may choose to make a gift via your will or living trust, both of which can allow you to donate either a particular amount, a percentage of your assets, or funds available after the distribution of other gifts.

As an additional option, you may choose to give to the society what remains should your intended beneficiaries predecease you.

You may also elect to make the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society a beneficiary of your charitable remainder trust, which provides you or others with income and defaults to charity after the term of the trust expires. If you would prefer to safeguard your inheritance rather than your current income, you may prefer to set up a charitable lead trust, which makes donations during the trust's term and transfers the remainder to named beneficiaries. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society can work with you to determine what type of gift makes the most sense for you and your family.
