CASE # 630F - SUMMARY The applicant is seeking to demolish
100% of the existing main structure inorder to construct a new single familyresidence with detached accessorystructure.

BACKGROUND
Council reviewed the request on July 25,2016 and tabled the case until August 8,2016 in order to give the applicant &adjacent land owners the opportunity todiscuss the issues of concern.
Due to scheduling conflicts, a groupmeeting was not held
Concerns have not been addressed by theapplicant, at this time.

Tree Removal Why necessary? Effects on “other half” of tree after removal
(the tree on the Fitzsimons property). Precautionary measures (prevent damage
to Fitzsimons’ property, their tree(s),prevention of Oak Wilt, etc.)

Tree Mitigation How will the City’s mitigation requirements
be met? What assurances can we get that
mitigation will occur on site? What is planned mitigation for loss of
canopy and buffering along rear propertyline?

Size and scale of home and garage Can anything be done to reduce the size
and/or scale of the home? Can setbacks be increased? Can height of home and/or garage be
decreased? Provide line-of-sight exhibit to show effects
on neighboring property.
