In Brazil, there is a legal requirement of managing employee’s

presence and absences for domestic workers. It can be done

manually using a presence list that is filled daily by the employee

with entry and exit time and his signature.

At the end of each month the employer and employee must sign

two copies and employer must keep one archived for historical

data (Worked hours, Absences and Overtime evaluations).

Based on the employee´s frequency, all calculation are made to

provide the hours amount that will be used for payroll. Some

wages are based on how many days the employee has worked

(transport for example). Taxes are calculated over the final

amount.

We have created an IOT prototype to record and manage this

data using web, smartphones and QR Code.
