What is Data Integration?

Data Integration & Club Management Systems

Data Integration is a process that allows Rotary clubs to link the member data in their club databases directly to the official RI membership database maintained at Rotary International World Headquarters at ORC.

Districts using club management systems

A district or zone may purchase a club management system for its clubs. Each club must set up on the vendor website and on My Rotary.

Club and Districts using different club management systems

A club can use a vendor other than the one its district or zone uses. Simply give view-only access to the district’s vendor, which will allow the district to view your data, too.

Eliminate duplicate data entry

• Without data integration, data may need to be separately entered into each database :

4 Tips for Successful Data Integration

• Ensure your Club ID matches in both your database and in RI’s database

• Make sure that names and member IDs match what is in RI’s database

• Frequently compare your data to that listed in RI’s database and make corrections as necessary

• With data integration, you can “push” and “pull” your data to and from RI. You can do this through your club management system.
