Before retirement, he worked as a BC and national broadcast news reporter/editor at The Canadian Press and as a crisis communications specialist with Canada's largest PR firm. This workshop is limited to 10 LGBTQ seniors 55+ participants. Please email [email protected] or call 604-684-8449 if you will attend. Bring a newspaper -- doesn't matter which one Be prepared to talk about how you read newspapers at home Be prepared to talk about what you read compared with tv and radio Seniors Pilot Session 2: Monday February 16, 2015 3:30-5pm Health and Care: What to Expect when Your Partner is Ailing Where: Generations office 1033 Davie St, Suite 610 Chris Morrissey has worked with Rainbow Refugees, LEGIT, the Generations program and other interest areas related to LGBTQ rights. Her partner is diagnosed with and is living with dementia in a VCH long term care facility. Chris and her partner have faced challenges in getting appropriate care and care aides who are respectful of their 35 year relationship.
