The president of Legend Advisory Corporation, Michael Quiel is experienced in both international and high-risk growth investments totaling more than $200 million in equity and debt financing. Michael Quiel also supports charities such as the RypienFoundation, to which he has donated more than $2 million in assets.

For 10 years, the Rypien Foundation has helped families affected by childhood cancer. The foundation was established by Mark Rypien, the MVP of Super Bowl XXVI, who lost his son to the disease. RypienFoundation provides support in the form of temporary lodging and emergency travel assistance, among other programs. The foundation takes part in a number of activities throughout the year to raise funds and awareness.

One of these activities, the Zak!CharityOpen, combines a dinner and auction with a pair of charity golf tournaments. Since its establishment over 15 years ago, the Zak!Charity Open has raised almost $5 million for children’s charities. For the past three years, the Rypien Foundation, in conjunction with the Spokane Indians baseball team, has hosted a self-guided motorcycle tour ending at the team’s stadium to start the game.
