Kenny Slaught, president of Investec Real Estate Companies, takes an active role in his community. Involved with the Dream Foundation as a board member for the past 15 years, Kenny Slaught now chairs the board.

Dream Foundation Grants 20,000th Wish

Since 1993, the Dream Foundation has fulfilled the final wishes of adults with terminal illnesses. The first organization of its kind, it granted its 20,000th wish in November of 2014. The recipient was a 34-year-old mother of two named Yvonne. Facing a prognosis of six months or fewer, Yvonne longed to take her family on a special vacation.

Dream Foundation Grants 20,000th Wish

The Dream Foundation granted Yvonne's wish to visit San Diego with her husband, daughter, and son. The family had the opportunity to visit San Diego Zoo and Safari Park as well as Sea World, where the children had the chance to pet dolphins. They stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Pacific Palisades resort, and were treated to the services of a professional photographer, who captured the joy that Yvonne and her children shared on their trip of a lifetime.
