FeasibilityThe catchment area spans a 35 mile radius in West Tipperary and East Limerick.

Phase 1 Soccer and Playing Pitch

FAI size Soccer/Playing Pitch

Completion of the natural turf FAI International sized soccer pitch.

Recently completed and funded by South Tipperary County Council, we hope to have the pitch open to the public in June 2014.

The use of the pitch is to be accessible to everyone and available for every sporting activity.

Phase 3Planning Permission Approved for:

A dressing room block with two unisex changing rooms and shower/w.c facilities.

General multi purpose area - meeting room rock climbing, youth club and training.

First Floor boxing and martial arts and internet hub

Phase 4 - FloodlightingTenders for floodlighting have been completed.

The lighting system is to be energy efficient consisting of 6 lighting towers.Additional solar lighting around the site is also to be installed.

Funding

Public Funding is available from a number of sources both from public and private bodies:

Community Amenity Fund - South Tipperary County Council

Leader Grant – South Tipperary Development Council

Community Fund - Airtricity Thankyou Fund – Coca Cola Sports Capital Funding – Dept of Transport

Tourism and Sport. Private Funding Voluntary Fundraising Revenue from Special events.
