Stages of the competition
The another important aspect of the ‘Discover e-volunteering’ competition is the community.

Community that is engaged!
Each European country has adopted a specific definition of voluntary activities. In many countries volunteering is regulated by the law, but there is mostly no law that regulates social activities undertaken on the Web. This is why the community gathered around 'Discover e-volunteering' competition is working on: -the definition of e-volunteering, - standards of e-volunteering (eg. security and reliability), - information about the presence of e-volunteering in Europe. As the idea of e-volunteering is still new, we also work on the promotion of e-volunteering in the European countries.
We share experience
