Educational ComponentThe Education component of the Amphitheater willconsist of programs that will increase knowledge in: History- Geographical Cinema Arts Math and Science / NASA Kids Program Ecology and Boating Mega Partnering Business Advancements Job Creations / International Career CenterWhile increasing the visibility of Local and NationalNon-Profit group awareness. 11. How the Historical Cinema Center contributes to the VitalEducation Center and Overall VenueAs part of the vital educational center, we feel that each section or area should have videodisplays that, similar to a museum, would provide the audience with archival footage andmontage of photos related to that area, all done through the Historical Cinema Center.First and foremost, an area focused on the Birth place of Business in America. How business hashelped developed this country and it roots through Annapolis, MD. through the Amphitheater'sMuseum of Commerce that will be inside the Conference Center to describe local generationalbusinesses and their foundations in the community. Spotlight business humanitarianism and thepeople responsible for its growth.Highlight the Historical significance on Black History and the Farmland history going back tothe sugar cane trade. Recognition of the Tuskegee Annapolis Chapter, as well as coveringRoots and its history.Tribute to the Military service through Annapolis, referencing key Multi-Cultural people that served inthese branches. Being in Annapolis, this is a great opportunity to shed light on the historicalmilitary presence within the city.History of Annapolis as far as people who came through Annapolis, dating back to when theNative Americans were established through today. Have highlights of key moment andpeople within that section (i.e. George Washington retired in Annapolis; ThurgoodMarshall, being the first African American Justice, was from Annapolis)One small area would showcase and be museum to all the various film and filmmakers, TV shows outof Annapolis or that were shot in Annapolis, MD, so it is more of a cinema history of Annapolis. This gives aspiring young filmmakers in Annapolis a place to go seek knowledge andmentorship. 12. Plans for the Amphitheaters Historical Cinema Center Conduct a historical review in cinema throughout Annapolis, toinclude any films that had to do with the city, so it is more of acinema history of Annapolis, MD. By creating the Amphitheater Historical Cinema Center, we have theability to create an annual Film Festival, that would partner up withlocal Film Festivals, and would generate more of a cinematic artisticpresence to the community. The Amphitheater not only works as the venue for such events likefilm festivals and music festivals (like Blues & Jazz Festival) but thisalso allows you to cover the event through the historical cinematiccenter. Working hand in hand with public access channels and cableproviders will give us an avenue for rebroadcast of the event locally,as well as on a National Level. One of the first and biggest projects for the Blackstone HistoricalCinema Center would be documenting the entire story in bringingabout the construction of the Amphitheater for Humanity as well ascontinued effort to move forward and open its doors to the public in2017. That footage would be used to make the Documentary and bearchived for future use for the Blackstone Amphitheater for Humanity. 13.
