• Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492.

• It was the Renaissance Period.

• People were very ingenious at that time.

• In 1565, Saint Augustine, Florida,

settled by the Spanish, becomes the

first permanent European colony in

North America.

• In 1650, colonial population was estimated at 50,400.

• In 1789, George Washington was the first elected President of USA.

• USA located in the northern part of America continent.

• It has 50 states and 1 district: District Columbia, that is shown as stars in their flag.

• Bordered: Mexico on the South & Canada on the North.

• America believes in Equality & Justice for all.

• All citizen of America deserve to have the same rights.

• It is free country. Every religion is accepted and people are free to choose.
