Toprovidenationalgeospatialstandardfortheproductionofdigitalmapsandothergeographicalinformation(SurveyCoordination). Toexecutevitalnationalsurvey(inconsultationwithrelevantdepartmentsofthegovernment)ofatime-lapsemappingofallareasofexplorationandexploitationofsolidminerals,oilandgas,forestry,othernationalresourcesandecologicallyimpactedareassuchasdesertification,gullyerosionandlanddegradation. SERVICES & PRODUCTS Offers the following services and products : 1.Delineation,demarcation,surveyingandmaintenanceofallInternational,MaritimeandInterstateboundariesofthecountry. 2.ProductionofgeospatialproductslikeTopographicMaps, ElectronicNationalAtlas,Gazetteerofgeographicalplacenames,RoadmapsandotherStreetGuideMaps. 3.CoordinationofalltheactivitiesrelatedtoSurveyingandMappingandtoadvisetheFederalGovernmentontheseissuesforthedevelopmentandsecurityofthecountry.

INFOTERRA UK/EIT ACQUISITION OF MULTISPECTRAL SATELLITE IMAGINARY MAP OF NIGERIA On8thNovember,2012,acontractinthesumofN3,690,513,750.00wasawardedtoInfoterraUK/EIT.Theobjectivesofthecontractareasfollows: Procurementofaconsolidatedmulti-userlicensefor25Ministries, DepartmentsandAgencies(MDAs)tosavecostfrommultipleacquisitions. Productionofortho-photoandlinemapsofNigeriaatvariousscales. Ausefultoolforthesecurityagenciesfordefensemapping,strategicandtacticaloperationalactivitiestocombatrisingcrimeinNigeria. Asat9thJuly,2014,thevalueofworkcompleted/certifiedforpaymentisN2,984,428,125.00outofwhichN2,024,000,000.00hasbeenpaidleavingabalanceofN960,428,125.00 Fromtheabove,80.87%ofthecontracthasbeenexecutedandcertifiedforpaymentwhile54.84%ofthecontractvaluehasbeenpaid.
