CareerSource Florida, formerly Workforce Florida Inc., 2012-2013 Annual Report highlights accomplishments achieved as a direct result of the leadership of Governor Rick Scott and the Florida Legislature, including a doubling of funding to $12 million for the nationally recognized Quick Response Training Program and the enrollment of the first 15 school districts in Workforce Florida’s Middle School IT Career and Professional Education (CAPE) Academies initiative. CareerSource Florida's commitment and dedication to serving the people and businesses of Florida shows in the results – more than 500,000 found jobs in the 2012-2013 fiscal year after receiving assistance through our state workforce system.
