MORE THAN 150 YEARS.

In 1863, Joseph van Leckwyck and hissons established a roastery in Antwerp

under the name Continentale Maatschappijvoor het Branden van Koffie (Continental

Society for Coffee Roasting).

They learnt the art of roasting. Under ouroriginal brand name Roode Pelikaan they

created quality yet affordable coffee.

The traders-turned-roasters single-handedly determined the course of thecoffee industry in Belgium. And beyond.

2015Today our brand is still synonymous

with a passion for great-tasting coffee.
