  • About UsPacific Beer Equipment’s renowned high-tech DraughtFoam Control device (Beer FOBs), the DFC 9500, stopsbeer flow immediately after a keg empties, both at thekey and the tap. This eliminates the spitting andspraying that usually happens when a keg “blows”. TheDFC 9500 keeps the supply lines full of beer, even whena keg blows, resulting in instant beer from a freshlytapped keg. That's right — no more time and money is wastedpouring off foam in order to get to the good stuff.Savings for businesses are astronomical. Independenttesting by various North American Breweries has shownthe DFC 9500 saves an average of one pitcher of beerper keg on a typical long-draw run, much greatersavings for stadiums, airports, and hotels. Given thatthere are approximately 40 pitchers in a keg and basedon a volume of 40 kegs per week - bars, pubs, clubs andrestaurants would save one keg a week. That's 52 kegs ayear!Owners see their return on investment very quickly.

  • ProductThe DFC9500 stops beer flow instantly when a kegempties, keeping the supply line full of beer. Beer isno longer wasted as foam when a new keg istapped. Save an average of one pitcher of draughtper keg. Much greater savings is seen atinstallations with longer than average supply lineslike Stadiums, Airports, and Hotels.Reduces the amount of CO2 or Beer Gas usedbecause it no longer fills the supply line andescapes out of the tap.Ideal for installations with computer portioncontrol, and flow metering systems, which can loseCalibration and give inaccurate total volumereadings when gas passes through them.Bartenders require less time to change kegsbecause the supply lines do not need to be clearedof gas and foam to get to "clear" beer. Servers donot have to wait to have their orders filled.

    OTHER

Check knob is in position #3 Lock-Down

Follow procedures 1,2 and 3 – Vent, Twist Up, LockDown, If unit continues to shut down, CO2breakout may be occurring (gas is escaping fromthe beer and collecting in the clear chamber). Thisusually indicates a “leaky” internal CO2 seal in thekeg coupler. Replacing or servicing the keg couplerwill correct the problem. Until servicing the couplerbypass the DFC 9500 as indicated in Step 3 below.

To bypass unit due to unexplainable trouble: Twistup in position #2 – you can now continue to servebeer in the usual manner. Call your productsalesperson or local draught service person duringregular hours for complete service.
