Introduction

Chaayos is a chai-cafe chain offering more than 25 varieties of tea customized in over 12,000 ways. Each Chai is handcrafted and made upon order. The variety of teas which Chaayos offers ranges from Indian chais like Paani Kum Chai and Kashmiri Kahwa to international favourites like Camomile tea and Moroccan Mint tea.

Chaayos was founded by Mr. Nitin Saluja in nov,2012.

It presently serves 40,000 to 45,000 consumers daily.

Chaayos focuses on serving your "Meri Wali Chai", a chai made exactly to the customers' liking the minute they place their order.

Their aim is to deliver all across NCR in less than 20 minutes as Chai is something for which people would not want to wait too long, According to Nitin Saluja, Founder and Ceo of chaayos.

Chaayos is rated 3.8 out of 5 on Zomato.

Company profile

Chaayos started its journey by opening its first and single store in DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon in 2012.

Today they have approximately 16 stores running in Delhi and Mumbai, and this year they are planning to open 50 Plus cafes in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.

As of now, they have 200 plus employees working for their firm.

The Highest selling outlet of Chaayos turned into an annual income of INR 1 Cr. This was the greatest mile stone in business journey of Chaayos.

Services

Chaayos sells approximately 500 Plus order per day per outlet.

Company Sells 10,000 cups of tea in a month and is targeting to sell three million cups of tea within 18 months with plans to open Chai on demand services. For this they have tied up with many logistic companies to deliver Chai in 15 minutes.

Observations

They offer one free beverage as a promotional offer, if you are visiting for the first time.

The staff is cheerful, warm and service is fast.

Food quality is very good specially “masala tea” and “Vada Pav”.

The interior and lighting is very good.

It provides value for money.

Marketing strategy

Chaayos is planning to provide online delivery of tea for homes and offices, packets of tea to brew at home as Online delivery is the fastest-growing segment, at 40-50% a month.

They already have tie ups with corporate for deliveries.

Their app is coming out soon which will be opening a B2C subscription channel as well.
