Chinese food – Dim sum and tea•Dim sum is a Chinese meal usually eaten for breakfast or lunch but most restaurants do serve it all day. Tea is a very important part of dim sum. It is the first thing most people ask for when they arrive. It is customary to pour tea for others before you pour for yourself . To say thank you, tap the table with your index finger. Leaving the lid of the tea pot balancing on the top of the pot is a way of asking the waiters to fill the pot with hot water.
