currently amounts to 4.3
million tonnes, or 56.5% of the
reported total.
Wood or wood-chip forms the
other significant category, at
2.0 million tonnes or 25.8% of
the total.
A total of 1,445 MW of
electricity is reported,
although not all projects
report a figure.
Wood/wood-chip is the
leading waste type in terms of
reported electricity
generation, accounting for
806 MW or 55.8% of the total.
