STEP on the Bus event

“Maintaining and expanding GBF would be welcomed; more funding on GBF is needed…to provide confidence beyond 1 year ahead”

“GBF to consider PM and NOx, not just CO2”

“Revise BSOG to target buses in AQMAs”

“Bus fleet upgrade to Euro 5 or 6 will happen organically, so should we use scare funds on this issue?”

“GBF and BSOG improvements are great, but there is a host of other

actions that could be implemented to improve bus patronage”

Two new proposals

NATIONAL MODELLING FRAMEWORK

Intends to provide a standard air quality assessment methodology for use across Scotland.

LOW EMISSION ZONE FRAMEWORK
