IrishStereotype of Irish people;• Have huge families• Drink alot especially Guinness • Eat potatoes• Pale skinned• Stereotypically names; Paddy, Mary.• Religious• Can sing and dance (Irish jig) • Friendly• Good sense of humour • Believe in “leprechauns” • Unintelligent • Wear green clothing

WalesStereotypes of a Welsh Person;• Own sheep• Can sing• Obsessed with rugby• Naive- easily tricked• Can’t be understood (speak “gibberish”)• Live in the middle of the countryside

There are 2 different stereotypes of Londoners;

• Rich, posh, upper class, well educated, snobby, high up well paid professional careers. i.e. Made in Chelsea.

• Working class, poor, speak in slang, rough, aggressive & violent, un-educated.

Essex

Stereotypical Essex;• Cheap• Fake Tan, White teeth, fake eyelashes, heavy

make-up, fake nails. • Glamorous (tacky) • Partying• Un-educated
