MEET THE ARTISTSThe 2015 Green Festival has received funding from the Arts Council. This support has enabled us to develop a fantastic arts element to this year’s event in order to showcase sustainability issues in innovative and engaging ways. Read on to discover more.

Green Festival Poet in ResidenceKeely Mills is a poet, creative producer and, in her own words, a ‘bit of a show o ’... Keely will become the uno cial poet in residence for all buses in Peterborough as part of the Green Festival 2015. She will be writing poetry inspired by the journeys she takes and the people she meets, highlighting the routes that keep the heart of the city pumping.

This work will then be recorded into a sound installation with the help of Beat This. This sound installation will be played in several surprising places during the festival week and online. So keep your eyes open for a poet on a bus and your ears ready for the recorded results where you least expect it.
