Paul with Karin (center) and Emily after he delivered his sermon Paul Tillich: Climate Prophet versus Profit at the Manatee UU Fellowship, Bradenton, FL. Tillich in 1962 said: “We have no guarantee against man made floods.” Karin helped by reciting the Noah Flood Story in Genesis 9 from memory. She was a 2nd grader at the Bradenton Christian School.

Paul also gave a talk “Nuclear Energy & Climate Change” at the Manatee Community College, where daughter Emily teaches English as a Second Language.

Many congratulations to daughter Sylvia Carr Clebsch (seated, center) whose extract from her novel, Safe, has won First Drafts Competition 2017, London, England. The judges described Safe as ‘a moving and compelling spy novel that demonstrates an accomplished grasp of the genre and heralds an exciting new voice.’ November 2017

”I am thankful for the joy of being a person,” as per my dad Rev. Auburn J. Carr’s Grace.

After having my cataracts replaced by plastic lenses on 8/23/2017 and 9/13/17, the world seems more bright and beautiful.
