DESCRIPTION
Legislation proposed by the City to give more power to the Recreation and Park Department and to install artificial turf and stadium lighting in Golden Gate Park. The Beach Chalet soccer complex will destroy the habitat in the western end of Golden Gate Park and have serious, significant impacts on the habitat at Ocean Beach. Vote NO on the above ballot initiative and YES on the Coalition to Protect Golden Gate Park Initiative.
